how it works

Fill in the relevant request forms.

One of our doctors will review you request and if all is in order he will begin to issue the prescription.

Payment to be made via EFT or Ozow, please note proof of payment is needed before we can send the prescription.

After we receive your payment, your prescription will be sent to your listed pharmacy.

You will receive a message confirming that the prescription has been sent.
T&C’s:

Prescriptions can be refused based on the doctor’s discretion.

All ethical prescription requirements have to be met at all times.

No prescription will be sent directly to a patient, only to their nominated pharmacy.

Payment to precede any prescriptions being sent.

Pharmacists retain the right to decide to dispense or not.

No medication outside of the South African Formulary will be prescribed.

No Prescriptions will be made for any unproven medication.

The prescribing doctor cannot be held liable where there was any untruths or false information on the filled forms.

The pharmacist holds the right to do any generic swapping.

The service is only available during the noted business hours.

No refunds will be made due to errors or faults from the patient side.

All amendments or exchanges on a prescription has to comply with the ethical norms and rules.

You may be asked to put us in contact with your pharmacist at any time for clarification during this process.

Uncomplete or erroneous applications will be rejected.

Prescription is subject to availability.

Dispensing is subject to availability, please confirm with your pharmacist.

No prescriptions will be made out for any other person than the one listed on the form.

Fee applies to one prescription only, multiple or other patient’s prescription subject to relevant fees.

We will only process prescriptions to our registered pharmacies, if you want to use an unregistered pharmacy please put us into contact with them to offer them registration.

Medvend24 is a physical surgery and not an online entity.

No use of AI will be made at any time.

Abuse or the attempt thereof will lead to the user being blocked.

No credit will be given.

No service will be given without payment.

By using this service, you give us permission to receive, process and transfer your personal information to your regular pharmacist.

Your personal information will be kept confidential between the doctor, his relevant staff and the relevant pharmacy.

Records will be kept of all prescriptions for a minimum time of 5 years.

Please note that the price only includes a prescription, medication and the dispensing thereof is not included.

Repeat prescribing of inappropriate medication is not allowed.

The pharmacist retains the right to refuse the prescription.

The prescription is only to be handled by the relevant doctor, his relevant staff, the pharmacist and his relevant staff. No prescription will be sent to a patient directly. The pharmacist can use his own discretion after he receives the prescription.

Our network pharmacists are trusted by us, we shall always act in a way to maintain that trust.
